Walking on Lava - 11.26.2006

Climbed a volcano yesterday evening near Antigua. Walked over a very warm lava field as the sun was setting. You could see through the cracks where the rock was still glowing red. Crazy. And there was a red blob about as big as I am that was still moving. A couple of people were poking their walking sticks into there, lighting them on fire.

Taking off for the terminal now. Will be in a bus all day, working our way up toward Coban / Sumac Champey.
